  • Overview

    The Business Development Associate (“Associate”) is responsible for financial analysis, due diligence, and execution for physician group and ancillary growth acquisition, partnerships and joint venture transactions in existing and new markets. The Associate will support the Chief Development Officer to analyze expansion opportunities and develop financial models and presentations for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and ancillary growth initiatives.



    Based in Tampa, Florida, Women’s Care Enterprises (“WCE’) is a leading private-equity backed multi-specialty provider of women’s health services. WCE is dedicated to improving the lives of women every single day by transforming the way healthcare is delivered. WCE is a partnership between Women’s Care Florida and Lindsay Goldberg that was formed in September 2017

    • Women’s Care Florida is WCE’s initial women’s health platform which includes more than 260 providers in Central Florida
    • Lindsay Goldberg is a New York private equity firm with more than $13 billion under management and $3.6 billion in their most recent fund


    • Manage due diligence process for platform and bolt-on transactions including due diligence review and analysis; coordination and managing multiple third party transaction consultants; coordination with senior management across the organization; working with prospect to collect and analyze information
    • Create and present financial projections for prospects to determine valuation, structure and the potential upside with each partnership and ancillary growth initiative
    • Managing internal databases including data rooms, deal pipeline and relationship trackers
    • Assist with business development activities including new deal opportunity research and assessments questions/responses from prospective partners
    • Attend required meetings with prospective partners and participate in team activities and professional development activities
    • Prepare corporate development presentation materials for prospective partners, senior management and private equity partner


    • Associate will have a full voice in discussions about investments, markets, and group strategy, and will be expected to participate actively in these conversations and will have consistent, direct interaction with C-suite executives, board members, and Lindsay Goldberg


    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field of study.
    • Minimum of two years of investment banking, M&A or private equity experience
    • Superior financial modeling capabilities and expertise in Excel and presentation of financial analysis in PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated knowledge of finance and accounting
    • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional projects with tight deadlines
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects & tasks concurrently and successfully prioritize to deliver results in the face of competing business interests
    • Flexibility and ability to quickly adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to strike balance between big picture planning and detailed execution
    • Creative problem solving capabilities
