    Seeking a motivated, experienced, and highly-skilled Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer to join our innovative team. As a member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for providing Analytic solutions throughout the organization working directly with stakeholders to identify and define key metrics and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards. This role is also responsible for performing ad hoc analysis and developing analytic data warehouse models and designs used to build scalable analytic solutions and data visualizations in Microsoft Power BI/SSRS. As a BI Analyst, you will help to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.

    Responsibilities

    1. Designing and developing enterprise wide data analysis, dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI and SSRS.
    2. Develop, analyze, and modify processes, data structures, and models
    3. Uses proven methodologies for analyzing and presenting data.
    4. Contribute to development and maintenance of transactional and data warehouse systems
    5. Create and manage data models for advanced analytics.
    6. Develop SQL database views, tables and stored procedures.
    7. Help migrate legacy reports following standards and guidelines.
    8. Optimize reports and trouble shoot reporting issues.
    9. Researches business problems and assists in the creation of models that help analyze these problems.
    10. Articulately and concisely explain implications of complex data
    11. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    1. 4+ years of work experience with relational database systems (or 2 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or MIS is preferred).
    2. 4+ years of SQL Development (stored procedures, performance tuning, views) in T-SQL or equivalent relational database platform.
    3. Proficiency in using visualization to convey analytical results
    4. Strong technical documentation skills, analytical skills and the ability to solve complex and challenging problems in an efficient, maintainable, and flexible manner.
    5. Experience either with Power BI/Tableau/SSRS
    6. Preferred 3+ years of experience in Healthcare
    7. Strong data analysis, data mapping and data conversion experience.
    8. Excellent SQL & Database design skills. Mandatory.
    9. The ability to manage and deliver projects with varying priorities.
    10. Work well under pressure in challenging, complex situations with tight deadlines.

     

     

    Ideal Candidate

     

    1. 5+ years’ experience working independently as a relational database developer
    2. 5+ years BI/report design and development
    3. 3+ years of experience in Healthcare
    4. Database analysis and design experience with Microsoft SQL Server / other relational databases. 
    5. Ability to analyze and optimize queries and stored procedures for greater efficiency and speed
    6. Knowledge in fundamental concepts and practices of Business Intelligence, OLAP, data warehouse and data mart design.
    7. 4+ years’ experience with SSIS, SSRS.
    8. Advanced problem-solving skills, both in data analysis and interpretation.
    9. Innovative approaches to complex business problems.
    10. Flexibility to work both independently and within a team construct.
    11. Predisposition to thrive under pressure and operate in an agile framework.
    12. Willingness to learn and master new technologies and analytical techniques.
    13. In-depth understanding of RDBMS, OLAP and ETL framework.
    14. Advanced Demonstrated analytical skills.
    15. Ability to successfully manage multiple requests in a deadline-driven environment.
