  • Overview

    The Senior Application Analyst is responsible for the design and implementation of the Practice Management system to the end users.  Key responsibilities include test and validation, and workflow analysis that maximizes efficient and effective use of the practice management system.  



    1. Participates in the go live planning to ensure successful execution of all those involved in the go-live event for upgrade and new practices.
    2. Evaluates current workflow within the PM application and perform gap analysis to implement future state workflow.
    3. Assists in performing analysis on new features determining applicability to practice and proposes changes to improve workflow.
    4. Performs test and validation of upgrades, feature packs, and enhancements including validation of the workflow end to end.
    5. Participates in the implementation of the upgrades to the end users, coordinating and planning resources necessary for go live.
    6. Participates in the education of the new features to the training department so they can modify their curriculum and train on the new features and upgrades.
    7. Submits problem tickets for issues as identified and tracks resolution.
    8. Other projects and duties as needed to meet the needs of the department.


    1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience in lieu of education.
    2. eClinicalWorks electronic health record training experience (EHR and practice management) preferred.
    3. Must have 3 years training experience in the healthcare industry.
    4. Excellent communicator with ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers and clients.
    5. Competency in utilizing computer programs for developing instructional materials, tracking related data and communicating information
