Provides professional clerical support following established standards and practices. Schedules high volume of appointments along with other clerical duties. Refers matters outside their scope of duties to the Clerical Supervisor or Division Administrator.
Perform high volume of OB/GYN appointment scheduling, possibly in phone room setting.
Collect co-pays when applicable.
Perform patient check-in/check-out procedures as needed.
Scan patient charts
Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year scheduling/front office experience.
Ability to be a self-starter that can multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in an effective manner.
Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system.
Two years clerical medical office experience desired.
OB/GYN experience a plus
eCW electronic medical record experience a plus
